Itinerary
Day 01 | LISBON – FATIMA ( - / - / D )
Arrival Lisbon International Airport. Meet and assist with our guide. Proceed directly to Fatima for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 02 | FATIMA ( B / L / D )
Have your breakfast inside the hotel. Start the day with visiting the following places: The Basilica where the tombs of Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta is located; the Chapel of the Apparitions the place where Our Lady appeared; the Church of the Holy Trinity; the exposition “Fatima Light and Peace” where offers are left by the pilgrims. Later visit Aljustrel, the village where the shepherds were born. Continue to Valinhos and visit the Stations of the Cross and the Calvary, the site of Our Lady's 4th apparition and the place where the children received the first and third visit of the “Angel of Peace”. After the visit proceed to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ortiga and to the Parish Church. The afternoon is free for personal devotions. You may explore The Sanctuary and the Great White Basilica and maybe, join the candlelight procession in the evening. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 03 | FATIMA – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Santiago de Compostela. Upon arrival, your city tour of this historical city will take you to the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Plaza del Obradoiro, Monasterio de San Martin Pinario, Convento de San Francisco, Fuente de Los Caballos and the Palacio de Raxoi. Free time will be given. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 04 | SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – BURGOS ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Burgos. Burgos, a provincial capital in Spain’s autonomous community of Castile and León, is marked by its intact medieval architecture. Its most recognizable landmark is the French Gothic Cathedral of St. Mary, whose 3 main doorways are flanked by ornamented bell towers. Inside is the Chapel of Condestable, decorated with figures of saints, and the tomb of El Cid (Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar), the 11th-century military commander. Visit the Burgos Gothic Cathedral. Free time. Transfer to hotel for check in and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 05 | BURGOS – ZARAGOZA – LOURDES ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Zaragoza which is the capital of northeastern Spain's Aragon region. Overlooking the Ebro River in the city center is baroque Nuestra Señora del Pilar Basilica, a famous pilgrimage site with a shrine to the Virgin Mary and multiple domes. Upon arrival, see the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, considered the Patroness of the country and the Spanish Civil Guard. Free time. Transfer to hotel for check in and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 06 | LOURDES ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is free for private devotion. You may wish to go to the Sanctuary to visit the Underground Basilica, walk the Station of the Cross, take the Holy Bath, drink the water or wash your face in the Grotto, or participate in the veneration of the sick pilgrim. In the evening, join the emotive candlelight procession.
Day 07 | BARCELONA – NICE ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Nice. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 08 | NICE – MONACO – PISA (B / L / D)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Firstly, we will see the Massena Square, Promenade des Anglais and the Place Garibaldi. Proceed to Monaco. See the Annunciation Cathedral where Prince Rainer & Princess Grace are buried. See the Casino Monte Carlo, the Rock, Port Hercule and Larvotto Beach. Later, continue to Pisa. See the amazing Leaning Tower and the nearby Cathedral. Free time. Transfer to hotel for check in and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 09 | PISA – FLORENCE – ASSISI ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Florence. Start city tour in Florence which is capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto. The Galleria dell'Accademia displays Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation”. See the Renaissance treasures of the city. Visit the magnificent Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s Gate of Paradise and the sculpture studded Signoria Square. Continue to Assisi, the hometown of the Beloved St. Francis. See the Basilica of St. Francis and the Basilica of Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Transfer to hotel for check in and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 10 | ASSISI – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel. Get in bus for a long-distance transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and resting. Free praying activities. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 11 | SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – LANCIANO – ROME ( B / L / D )
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit the Shrine of St. Padre Pio at the Convent of Santa Maria della Grazie. Visit the Tomb and Crypt. Afterwards, proceed to Lanciano and visit San Francesco Church, site of the first Eucharistic Miracle. Long distance transfer to Rome. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in and resting. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 12 | ROME - DEPARTURE ( B / - / - )
Early breakfast at the hotel. Morning ATTEND THE PAPAL AUDIENCE in St. Peter’s Square. Afterwards, visit St. Peter Basilica. Then we will proceed to the Vatican and enter the Vatican Museum. We start with a guided visit to one of the great art collections in the world, the Vatican Museum. We see the Tapestries Gallery, the Belvedere with its marvelous classical statues, the rooms wonderfully frescoed by Raphael, and Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel, which was recently restored to its original splendor. Then continue your sightseeing with the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Vittorio Emanuelle II Monument, Piazza Navona, and toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain on the hope of returning to Rome. Free time to walk to the Spanish Steps and shop for luxurious branded goods. Afterwards, transfer to airport to catch our flight back home.
