Today, we will have a full day city tour in Isfahan. First, we visit the Naghshe Jahan Square (UNESCO HERITAGE SITE), a huge square with 89,600 sq. meters built in 1598. Then, we proceed to Alighapoo Palace, a beautiful palace with amazing architecture built in the 17th Century. The Vank Church or also known as the “Church of the Saintly Sisters” is a unique church of Isfahan established in 1606. Next is the Chehel Sotoun Palace (UNESCO HERITAGE SITE), a pavilion in the middle of a park at the far end of a long pool built by Shah Abbas II (1642-1666) to be used for his entertainment and receptions. Jame Mosque or “Sheykh Lotfollah” (UNESCO HERITAGE SITE) is the oldest mosques of Isfahan with a long history, perfect ceramics and tile work.
